Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce has admitted the fact that laying off employees during two-hour calls was a very safetysignandlabel.com.au idea.
Earlier, the firm had sacked about 7k employees from its firm, impacting 10% of its workforce amid the global economic crisis.
Further in an interview, Benioff admitted that the call he had made was a very bad idea.
He further addressed the firm as trying to explain the unexplainable. And it was a very crucial decision the firm has put forward and the firm is already paying the price.
In another report, Benioff claimed that he wished he could offer lifetime employment. But the reality is that the firm has an employee of 80k capacity and sometimes to make the workforce adjustment the firm has to take some tough decisions.
Earlier these months, the firm sacked about 7k employees from their firm which was impacting 10% of the workforce.
Moreover, around 4k people disappeared from Salesforce’s Slack channel within 2 days.
